Even the best systems need a refresh from time to time. Companies change and software authors are regularly adding new features. The need is particularly acute when key members of your team have left the organisation.
In circumstances such as these, your LAKE Account Manager can help.
They can help raise awareness of key features and product capability as well as the cost of different options. Your Account Manager may also recommend a Systems Health Check.
There are two elements to a Systems Health Check:
A System Health Check helps you ensure that your system is the best it can be. The Health Check Report acts as a guide to help you and your LAKE Account Manager develop a roadmap for future improvements and enhancements to your LAKE solutions.
The report is a record of findings and recommendations. The scope of the report mirrors that of the joint review and may include the following:
"We had been using Proactis Purchase-to-Pay for a number of years and our structure had changed considerably in that time. Our main Proactis administrator also left, leading us to seek reassurance that the system was healthy and being used to best advantage."
We invested in a LAKE Health Check and spent a day with Andy, one of LAKE's senior consultants. We found the process really useful; it highlighted a number of areas for improvement. And it is always a pleasure to work with Andy because we learn so much from him.
We have subsequently gone on to implement the changes LAKE recommended and they have definitely helped us future proof the system. The process was really smooth and easy. I asked my colleagues what they thought, and they were all really positive. We now have a more flexible and user-friendly system as a result.
