C40 embraces cloud technology with SunSystems

C40 is a global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world's leading cities; all of whom are united in action to confront the climate crisis. C40 aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks while enhancing the health, well-being, and economic opportunities of urban populations around the world.

C40 has recently implemented SunSystems Cloud, and we had a chance to ask Rachel Yoxen, C40's Chief Financial Officer about their transition process.

Why did you decide to move to SunSystems Cloud?

"We decided to move to SunSystems Cloud primarily because it reduces our IT overheads and removes our reliance on using Citrix as part of a third-party hosted solution."

Are there any SunSystems Cloud features that you were particularly interested in?

"We expect the reliability of SunSystems Cloud to significantly improve our operations. It also offers some attractive additional functionalities that we are looking forward to utilising in our business."

How has the project been progressing so far?

"The project has been progressing well, thanks to the quality of the support we've received from the team at LAKE, particularly our Customer Success Manager, Amy Jones, and Project Manager, Debbie Hodgson."

We have now completed the implementation of SunSystems Cloud at C40. We eagerly await hearing more about their experience in the coming months.
