Modern Slavery Statement

As an organisation we are not legally obliged to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. However, LAKE want to demonstrate our commitment to eradicating slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking as we believe fully in these principles.

We acknowledge our responsibilities and we are committed to maintaining and improving our systems to ensure that modern slavery is not present within our own organisation and organisations within our supply chain.

LAKE is a privately owned business and is a specialist provider of financial and business management solutions based on market leading software and over 30 years’ experience across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK and the World. Our policies and procedures demonstrate our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships with our employees, our suppliers and our customers.

We recognise that everyone has a duty to be alert to acts of potential modern slavery and encourage everyone to report any concerns they have and for our directors and managers to act on these as we believe in zero tolerance.

All Directors and Managers have been briefed on modern slavery issues and are all fully committed to removing this from society, firstly on an ethical basis and secondly in conjunction with the clauses of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

As a company we will continue to strive to ensure that LAKE takes all reasonable steps to prevent Modern Slavery and follows best practice to achieve this. The Company Directors have all committed to and endorse this statement.
