About the Role
The opportunity
This is a key growth role within LAKE and is intended to strengthen our ERP new business capability while also ensuring a strong commercial foundation for long-term customer success.
Reporting to the General Manager for ERP, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, qualifying and closing new-name ERP opportunities, while also helping to build strong early-stage customer relationships that support successful onboarding, long-term satisfaction and future account growth.
Key responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Generate and convert new business opportunities for SAP Business One
- Build, manage and progress a healthy pipeline of qualified leads/opportunities
- Lead sales activity from first engagement through discovery, demonstration, proposal and close
- Conduct strong discovery meetings to understand customer objectives, challenges, processes and priorities
- Develop compelling solution propositions aligned to prospect requirements and business value
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity plans and forecasts
- Help nurture strong early-stage customer relationships to support adoption, confidence and long-term success
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales campaigns, messaging and go-to-market activity within target sectors in close collaboration with marketing colleagues
- Share market, prospect and customer feedback to help improve sales performance and customer experience.
About the Candidate – who are we looking for?
Experience and knowledge
You will have:
- A strong track record in new business software, ERP or solution sales delivering on-target sales performance for at least two years
- Experience managing consultative B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of SAP Business One (highly advantageous)
- Experience of working (or desire to work) effectively in a small or mid-sized business environment
- Good general education; degree-level education is welcomed but not essential where relevant experience is strong

Package Summary
- Basic salary of £60,000–£75,000
- OTE of £100,000 – £120,000 uncapped
- Remote working with occasional team meetings in Leeds
- Travel to prospect and customer sites as required
- 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays, increasing with length of service
