What’s coming in the October 2025 release of SunSystems Cloud?

The October 2025 update to Infor SunSystems Cloud lands on 21st October 2025 and delivers a number of important improvements, including:

  • New Dashboard widgets
    Plug and play dashboard widgets that work with SunSystems straight out of the box
  • Q&A Scheduler
    Autonomous report execution and emailing from Q&A Cloud
  • Form Designer
    Further improving the web-based Form Designer to allow quick and simple customisation of SunSystems forms from your browser
  • API improvements
    Improving the speed and reliability of integrations
  • Additional languages
    Announcing the availability of SunSystems Cloud in Thai, Vietnamese, and Brazilian Portuguese

New Dashboard widgets

Infor plans to offer a comprehensive library of role-based visualisations for selection and deployment by customers at no additional cost.  Customers will be able to select and drag and drop these widgets effortlessly onto their workspaces to create insightful, drillable dashboards. 

The October 2025 release sees the arrival of the first two of these visualisations that are aimed initially at users in the Accounts Payable team – with visualisations analysing Aged Payables and Top Suppliers.

Q&A Scheduler

With the 2025.10 release of SunSystems Cloud, Q&A is being given autonomy to run central processes including:

  • Scheduled execution and sharing of reports
  • Emailing of whole reports or individual report sheets
  • Choice of report formats including xlsx, csv, and zip
  • Integration with Office 365 using oauth2.0
  • Scheduled execution of Data Send routines
  • Integration with SunSystems Cloud Storage
  • Improved administrator UI

Form Designer

The 2025.10 release introduces advanced features into SunSystems Cloud Form Designer, meaning you should no longer need to access Form Designer in the Designer Edition.  Improvements in this release include:

  • Enhanced security
    Allowing you to give or deny access to forms based on Data Access Groups and/or Business Unit
  • Integration with the SunSystems Data Dictionary
    Ensuring consistent and effortless form design based on items and terms managed centrally in the multi-lingual SunSystems Data Dictionary
  • Grouping and parenting controls
    Allowing objects like tabs, buttons, text and fields to be grouped and kept together in a logical container
  • Configurable default tab ordering
    Allowing you to define default tab ordering, saving time and effort on every form you design

API Improvements

SunSystems is renowned for the flexibility and openness of its integration tools.  Release 2025.10 introduces a number of key improvements to these tools that will improve the reliability and speed of your integrations, including:

  • Increased page sizes – from 400 to 20,000 – facilitating less paging and simpler and faster integrations
  • Longer timeout limits – improving resilience
  • Introduction of select functionality, allowing you to limit payload sizes and improve speed by requesting only those fields that you really need
  • Increased server capacity – improving performance and resilience at the back-end
