Director of Finance for the charity outlines the reasons for seeking a new system and for selecting SunSystems.
“Our current Finance software had been a candidate for an upgrade for a number of years and support was due to expire. A couple of years ago we considered moving to a fully integrated system that included Payroll, HR as well as Finance but the more we looked into it the more obvious it became that approach was not right for us. It would have been hugely expensive and would not have delivered the sort of accounting functionality we need.
“We did some online research and asked other charities what finance systems they were using. SunSystems was clearly a leading contender so we included it in our shortlist, alongside a review of the upgrade option being offered by our current finance software provider.
