The company has recently upgraded to the latest version of Proactis. The upgrade was driven by a desire to transition to cloud and to ensure that key business systems are kept up-to-date.
Glenn Layzell, Procurement Systems Manager makes the following comments regarding the service provided by LAKE:
“The primary driver for this project was our corporate strategy to migrate our data centre to the cloud. We also saw this as an opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of Proactis and take advantage of recent improvements in functionality and usability
“The project was a complete success. Communication was really clear. There were regular catchups and team meetings. It all went forward without a hitch. The success of the project is predominantly down to the close working relationship we have with LAKE and the knowledge they have.
“Proactis is our corporate purchase to pay system. A lot of our business transactions go through it, and we rely on it to instruct our suppliers. It is vital for our business assurance that spend is controlled and properly accounted for. So, any sort of unexpected outage or delay to the project would have resulted in severe and immediate impact on critical business processes. Working with the LAKE team and knowing their ability to deliver on plan certainly was a huge comfort for us.
