UKSE invests in SunSystems Cloud supported by LAKE

UK Steel Enterprise (UKSE) has upgraded to SunSystems Cloud to streamline financial management processes and lower their total cost of ownership. The upgrade went hand in hand with a change of support partner. LAKE were chosen for their quality of service and expertise in SunSystems Cloud.

Rob Marr, Company Accountant, comments on the reasons for upgrading to SunSystems Cloud.

“The investment in SunSystems Cloud was driven by our strategy to migrate away from physical servers and move everything up into the Cloud. Since going live, we have found connectivity much better. We previously we had to log in to SunSystems via a third-party server. It was all very clunky.

“We operate over multiple sites. With SunSystems Cloud, users can access it from wherever they are and everything’s synchronised to our Microsoft accounts; it’s seamless.”

Following the successful completion of the migration project, Rob Marr comments on the service provided by LAKE.

“The project went really well. There were clear milestones from the outset and good communication with project updates throughout. Queries and issues were dealt with promptly and effectively. All the project team members were really friendly and approachable and, in many ways, went above and beyond what I would expect.

Working with LAKE has been a breath of fresh air. The service desk is quick to respond, and they understand our system. LAKE have made us feel valued as a customer and reassured that there is always someone on hand to support us when we need help.”
