The SCOR Managing Agency has recently migrated to SunSystems Cloud, marking an important milestone in the modernisation of its finance systems. The decision reflects a strategic move toward a future‑proof, fully supported platform and continued access to the latest SunSystems innovations.
Wesley Atack, London Market Solution Portfolio Owner, explains the rationale behind the shift:
“We needed to be on a fully supported version of SunSystems. Instead of upgrading to the on-premise version 6.4 and then to moving to the Cloud at a later date, we decided to just move to the Cloud straight away – there’s no point in paying for one upgrade now, only to then have to pay for another later.”
The migration also involved selecting a new support partner. SCOR chose LAKE for their strong expertise in SunSystems Cloud and their high service standards.
“LAKE offer a five-star service. The people we spoke to were honest and very clear with us. They came back on our questions quickly. So, we thought, if they do this for a company they don’t yet know, then this is the sort of company we can work with.”
Following the successful completion of the migration project, Wesley comments on the service provided by LAKE.
“Hugh was amazing. Debbie was brilliant. They came to the meetings well prepared. That made all the difference. LAKE were great to work with. The whole project was well managed. Everything worked exactly as it should. We had very few questions. We had no delays. To be fair, I wish all my projects went like that. It was plain sailing.”
