Infor introduces enhancements to SunSystems Cloud in two major releases each year: April and October.
The October 2024 release of Infor Query & Analysis Cloud introduces three key improvements:
Q&A Report Scheduler
Q&A 12 Scheduler has been added into the System as a new feature.
Historically, Q&A has had a scheduling component, called Alert. As part of the October release, parts of this functionality are moving into the Cloud.
Q&A 12 Scheduler now offers:
- Completely web-based functionality
- Workbook-level Scheduling
- Compatibility with SunSystems Storage
- Scheduling frequencies (Once, Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly). The feature is enabled for the 2024.10 release and onwards and will receive incremental updates. There are no security role requirements at this time.
Provide role-based security for Q&A Web
The role QAA-WebExtract is available in Infor OS (IFS)
In Security of Infor OS, the administrator assign the QAA-WebExtract role to a user. Users with this role may use all functions available within Q&A online. If the user does not have this role assigned, they cannot use Online Excel for Q&A and will receive an error message if attempting to perform actions within Q&A online.
Data Send shows errors detected when data was posted successfully.
No record is posted if the option ‘Abort On Error’ is ticked and error(s) is found during Data Send.
Data Send shows errors detected but the data were posted to SunSystems successfully although the option ‘Abort On Error’ is ticked. Now this fault has been fixed.
